AGARICUS MUSCARIUS

It is a constitutional remedy for patients:

1.         Who are chilly, awkward and subject to chorea.

2.         Children who are late in learning to walk and talk due to slow development of brain and nervous system.

3.         Nervous girls prior to puberty, who suffer from convulsions when scolded, excitement and shock.

4.         Silly boys and girls, say foolish things, sing and whistle at an inopportune time, makes verses and prophesies; of changeable disposition, sluggish in morning, brighten up in the night.

5.         Hysterical girls who faint after intercourse.

6.         Who are extremely sensitive to cold air.

7.         Old people with weak indolent circulation.

It is a specific remedy for the following conditions:

1.         Frost bite and chilblains with aggravation from heat, with itching.

2.         Epilepsy from suppressed eruptions.

3.         Chorea, jerking, twitching, trembling, blepharospasms, nystagmus, involuntary movements while awake cease during sleep. Paretic conditions with trembling and twitching of muscles after debauchery.

4.         Headache of drunkards; delirium tremens.

5.         Tubercular diathesis.

6.         Urticaria: burning itching, redness of various parts; parts red, swollen and hot.

7.         Ataxia: uncertainty in walking, stumbles over every thing in the way.

8.         Complaints appear diagonally; upper left and lower right side.

9.         Nervous troubles after sexual excesses.

10.     Delirium of typhoid with great loquacity.

11.     Pain in heels.

Dosage : 6^th to 200^th or higher; in skin conditions lower potencies; in mental and spinal conditions 30 and higher potencies.

Repetition : bears repetition in acute diseases.

Duration of action : 40 days.
