ANTHRACINUM (Anthrax Poison )



Anthrax Poison is a nosode, from the spleen of the infected sheep from anthrax bacillus. The mother tincture is prepared from an alcoholic extract of the anthrax poison from from the spleen of infected sheep.
Proved by Dr. Lux.

It is a specific remedy for the following conditions:
1. Succession of boils or carbuncles.
2. Gangrenous ulcers, Carbuncles, Whitlows with horrible burning pains; with black or blue discoloration; with sloughing and discharged of ichorous offensive pus.
3. Dissecting wounds with a tendency to become gangrenous, with specific fever.
4. Suspicious insect-bites with enlargement of lymphatic glands.
5. Septic fever with fainting, prostration, sinking pulse and delirium.
6. When Ars a or the best selected remedy fails to relieve the burning pain of carbuncle or malignant ulceration.
7. Hemorrhages; black thick tar like blood, rapidly decomposing.
8. It is one of the leading remedies for plague.

Dosage : 30 C to 200 C.
Repetition : Bars repetition well.
Duration of action : Not definite.
