NATRUM MURIATICUM



Natrum Muriaticum
It is a very long and deep acting remedy

It is a CONSTITUTIONAL remedy for the following types of patients:

1. Backward children who are late in walking and talking.
2. Irritable children: child cross when spoken to; crying from slightest cause; gets into a passion about trifles, especially when consoled with.
3. Chlorotic girls with delayed menses and headaches; greasy skin and shiny face; mapped tongue.
4.  Women having weepy disposition but are worse from consolation.
5. Persons loosing flesh, especially in neck while eating well.
6. Persons : awkward, hasty, drop thinks from nervous weakness.

It is a SPECIFIC remedy for the following conditions:

1. Bad effects: from acid food: bread; excessive use of salt; quinine, cautery with the silver nitrate; of anger; grief; fright; vexation; mortifiction or reserved displeasure.
2. Malarial fever: when chill comes at 10 or 11 am. Chronic disease having the history of malarial fever treated with quinine.
3. Spleenomegaly with scanty menses (cured a girl of 16 years on this symptoms).
4. Hay fever : brought on by exposure to hot sun or intense summer heat ; sensation of a worm crawling in the nostril.
5. Warts on palms of hands.
6. Eczema; raw, red, inflamed, especially in edges of hair; worse from eating too much salt, at sea shore or from ocean voyage.
7. Urticaria, acute or chronic; over whole body ; especially after violent exercise.
8. Melancholia : of puberty, pregnancy or menopause; with sadness and weeping, throbbing and heavy pain in the occiput ; chilliness, restlessness, palpitation and constipation; in anemic patients; with dry mouth and patchy tongue; hopeless about future.
9. Headache: of anemic school girls: from sunrise to sunset left sided; as if bursting; with red face, nausea and vomiting before, during and after menses; beginning with blindness; from eye strain; with zigzag dazzling light in eyes; hammering in brain during fever better from perspiration.
10. Paralysis, spinal irritation, impotence after sexual excesses.
11. Hysteria: alternate weeping and laughter; menses delayed and painful; profuse, greenish, acrid leucorrhoea itchy and burning; fluttering of heart; with a weak faint feeling heart pulsations shake the body; dreams of robbers in the house, will not believe on waking until search is made, with painful contractions of the hamstrings; sensation of a hair on the tongue.
