CAUSTICUM |
1. In
facial paralysis especially of right side, paralysis of tongue, paralysis of
single parts from exposure to cold winds, after diphtheria, typhus or typhoid.
2. Ptosis
– drooping of the upper eyelids.
3. Bad
effects of burns.
4. Epilepsy at the onset of puberty or
suppressed eruptions(Caulop).
5. Aphonia: worse in the morning.
6. Rheumatic contractions and shortening
of sleep, fear.
9. Enuresis-passes urine involuntarily during
first sleep.
10. Torticolis-stiffness of neck from
exposure to cold.
Dosage: Dr. Boericke recommends 3rd to
30th potency. In constitutional affections higher and highest potencies cure.
Repetition: Acts best in single dose but
may be repeated when symptoms call for it.
Duration of action: 50 days.
